Everything on this page comes from Poditivity's own site and records. It is our description of ourselves, not an independent review.
What is Poditivity?
Poditivity is a company based in Hyderabad, India. Its legal name is Poditivity Advertising and Education Pvt. Ltd. It builds career infrastructure for India's Tier-2 and Tier-3 colleges: the programmes, platforms and connections that help talented students become visible and hireable.
The idea behind it is simple. Talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't. Students outside the top colleges often do not fail placements for lack of ability. They fail because the system around them was never built to help them win. Poditivity is an attempt to build that system.
Poditivity is a member of the NVIDIA Inception Program. Its founder and CEO is Thakur Prashanth.
Note on the name: it is spelled P-O-D-I-T-I-V-I-T-Y. It is not the word "positivity".
What does Poditivity build?
| Detail | Build Theory | 3E |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | Build Theory (part of EduPodX) | 3E, the Educational Excellence Engine |
| For | Students | Colleges and institutions |
| What it is | An AI-native builder school | An operating system for colleges that want outcomes, not paperwork |
| Main parts | The 30-day Fellowship, Build Theory for Campus (AI readiness sessions), Build Theory Enterprise (real problems, real internships) | Institution operations in one place and the 3E Recruiter Portal |
| Website | edupodx.com | 3e.poditivity.com |
The two connect in a loop. Students build real skills and proof. Institutions track readiness, not just attendance. Recruiters meet talent with evidence.
What is the Build Theory Fellowship?
The Fellowship is a 30-day online programme. Students find a real problem, build a fix with AI tools and launch it to real users, working one-to-one with a mentor. It is designed to take about 3 to 5 hours a week alongside studies and placement preparation.
Its three phases are:
- Think like a builder: problem discovery, a product requirement document and the scope of a first version.
- Build with AI: design, build, test with users and ship live.
- Show it to the world: interview sessions, a pitch deck and a Demo Day in Hyderabad.
What has it produced? Cohort 01 had 24 fellows in 14 teams, closed in two and a half months. Examples include Tuition OS, which went live at a real tuition institute serving around 100 students 29 days after it started; SIGNMATE, an Indian Sign Language translation app for deaf students in Classes 6 to 10; and a project for visually impaired users that fellows rebuilt after visiting the Sri Matha Foundation for the Blind.
Build Theory does not guarantee placements. You can read more about the approach in our 30-day portfolio project guide and in Build Theory's student guides on vibe coding vs vibe developing and writing a one-page PRD.
What is 3E?
3E is a platform for colleges. It runs institutional operations and connects student readiness to recruiters through the 3E Recruiter Portal. Bower School of Entrepreneurship was the first institution live on 3E, from January 2026.
3E is not an LMS and not an ERP. Think of it as the layer that turns student effort into evidence recruiters can see. For what to look for in any placement system, see our college guide.
Which institutions has Poditivity worked with?
Poditivity has signed MoUs with institutions including Bower School of Entrepreneurship, RTIH Anantapuramu, Kakatiya University (KUCET&W) and Maturi Venkata Subba Rao (MVSR) Engineering College. The 3E launch and these signings are in the photo gallery on our home page. By our own records, 13 fellows came into the Fellowship from a single campus session at MVSR.
Who is Poditivity for?
- Students who want proof of work instead of just a degree. Start with Build Theory.
- Colleges that want better placement outcomes. Start with an AI readiness session or an MoU to use 3E. Our guide to running an AI readiness session shows how.
- Partners and recruiters who want to meet talent with evidence.
What Poditivity is not
- It is not a coaching class or a certificate mill.
- It does not promise jobs.
- It is not only for computer science students. Any branch can have a problem worth solving.
